NELSON HALL was born in Crescent City, California and raised in Brookings-Harbor, Oregon. Nelson graduated from Oregon State University in 1977, attended graduate school at Bowling Green State University, and then went on to earn his law degree from Northwestern School of Law in 1985. Nelson served on the Workers' Compensation Board for five years, including two years as Board Chair. He's committed to representing those people who have been injured. Mr. Hall's practice emphasizes personal injury, workers' compensation, employment and labor law.

Areas of Practice

Personal Injury, including death, major injury, medical/dental malpractice Workers' Compensation (long and short-term disability, PERS) Employment & Labor Law

Significant Cases

Personal Injury/Dental Malpractice
A woman in her late 30's with Infantile Cerebral Palsy was hospitalized for dental work. Without consulting the patient, while under general anesthesia, the attending dentist pulled all of her teeth. No attempt had been made to understand the patient's use of her teeth to stay independent by feeding herself and expressing herself in works of art.

Nelson Hall, representing the client, settled the case out of court for more than three times the original offer.
